We’ve put together some handy hints to help you grow your hair quicker and stronger!
Drink plenty of water
Being hydrated helps keep your skin and hair healthy. This will help to avoid breakage.
Eat a healthy diet, including protein
A healthy diet will also help your hair to grow. Getting enough protein will make your hair strong and healthy. High protein foods include lean meats, legumes, cheese, tofu and eggs.
Wash your hair, but not too regularly
Washing your hair regularly is important to keep your scalp healthy. But washing it too often will strip it of necessary oils. Every third day is a good rule-of-thumb.
Don’t brush your hair when it’s wet
Your hair is more fragile when it’s wet, so brushing it can lead to breakage. Use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to remove tangles after washing.
Use a heat protective spray when styling
Using hot tools (hair dryers, straighteners, curling irons) on your hair can dry it out and lead to breakage. Use a heat protective spray to minimise any damage.
